how do I make the font smaller?
I had the computer repaired and now the font is very big. How do I change it back to the default size?
Chosen solution
You can look at this extension to adjust the font size of the user interface and possibly set a global zoom via the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref that affects both the user interface and web pages. You can do this via the Options/Preferences of the extension (about:addons or the Tools menu): Zoom.
- Theme Font & Size Changer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
If you can't use the Zoom setting in the extension then modify layout.css.devPixelsPerPx directly on the about:config page starting from 1.0 in 0.1 or 0.05 steps (1.1 or 0.9) until icons look right.
You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoScript extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
- Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
- NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/
