How do I move folders from inbox to local folders so my server doesn't charge extra for storage?

I did not realize emails in my inbox were stored by my server. My server informs me I am going to have to pay more per month unless I clean up my inbox. I can delete loose emails, but I also need to move folders I created in the inbox to local folders. I have not been able to figure out how. Can anyone explain? Thank You.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Mozilla Thunderbird, let us know and we can move this thread to the Thunderbird queue. This question currently is in the Firefox queue for answers.
