When I go to one of my favorites, that it wouldn't open up another page so that I can view that information

I went to this one website that told me that I had to enter my secret question because it said that it didn't recognize my computer at all, but this is my primary computer that I use every day. I tried downloading PDF statements at other sites, but somehow Firefox prevented me from downloading PDF statements or opening up other pages to gather information like voting my proxies. I don't have any problems using Internet Explorer to download PDF statements to my computer or voting my proxies. There is something with this newest update at Firefox that is preventing me from opening up other pages or dowloading PDF statements.
