Large incoming message from myself is in some kind of loop and keeps coming 14 times so far and is stopping all other message traffic.
Sent a message with 2 pics attached and included myself as a recipient because I wanted to see how it looked when received. Since then, it has shown up in my inbox 14 times and continues to block receipt of all messages behind it. I want to get rid of it but don't know how. Result is I haven't been able to receive any email since the bad one went out. I even uninstalled Thunderbird and re-installed it but it keeps on coming. How do I resolve this?

Go to your email provider's website and delete it there. It seems likely that it cannot be successfully downloaded by Thunderbird, so it is never tagged as having been downloaded.
