FF36, low memory message.
I continue to encounter, the following message, after updating to, FF36. I checked the task manager, and the memory usage, does not appear, to be excessive. I have been unable, to prevent this message, from occurring. I have tried to load a screen shot, of the message. However, I cannot get it, to load.
Chosen solution
I performed a restart, this morning, and Windows updated. I was unaware, of pending updates. Since, the last Update Tuesday. Apparently, this resolved the issue, as I have not encountered, the message, since the update. In the future, I will perform a restart, before proceeding. Thanks again, for your assistance.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift (Mac Options) > key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
I have gone back, to FF35.1, to see, if the problem continues. So far, the problem, has not appeared. I always use, the private browsing mode, if this helps.
Is this a message from the OS or from your security software or from something else?
Can you attach a screenshot?

- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
The message, is from the OS.
Does the about:memory page give any information what is taking up that much memory?
Did you also check if plugin-container processes are taking up that much memory?
I opened, the Task Manager, and I did not notice, the memory usage, being excessive. When the message appeared, I would just close it, and continue on.
Also, I have been using, FF35.1, for about an hour now, and the message, has not appeared.
Thank you, for your help. I have to go now. I will reply, to any further, communication.

If you check for Windows updates manually, you will find that the auto- update only updates critical files only. Optional, and even important updates need your permission. I have my Task Manager set up to run the updater every three days so I remember to do it.
