When I download firefox, it appears 10 times larger than my screen and I cannot reduce it to fit the screen.
As I said, I cannot reduce the firefox screen enough to see it on my monitor.

I still have this problem!!!!!

Three month old problem - installing the latest version of Firefox isn't necessarily going to fix a problem that existed with earlier versions of Firefox. Either something is wrong in Windows or something is broken in your Firefox Profile which doesn't get uninstalled with Firefox (if you did uninstall it) or when installing a later version of Firefox.
Your Profile is located here in Vista & Win7:
C:\Users\Windows login user name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profile_name
With Firefox closed, delete your Profile and when Firefox is started a new Profile will be created - hopefully that problem will be fixed.
Deleting my profile fixed the problem, but now I have to download ALL my add-ons and redo ALL my settings again. I might as well have just uninstalled Firefox and started fresh for all the help this was.
