Hi all

I have a problem that my smtp needs a password but I can't input a password in Mozilla Thunder it won't let me. I checked online and I don't have that screen where I can input a password. I have been to Settings - Outgoing server - Edit - but it doesn't give me enter a password option

Help me please :(

To change SMTP passwords you need to first remove them from the saved passwords, much like in Firefox (Tools > Options... > Security > Saved Passwords), or from Account Settings > Outgoing Server (SMTP).

You will then need to add the acount SMTP information again and configure it in the Server Settings section of your account.

Next time you're sending an email you'll be prompted to enter (and save) a new password.

If you think you'll need to do this often perhaps the Saved Password Editor add-on would be useful to install.
