When I try to install addon, the installation message becomes white. Same with settings window. Windows react to pressing, but can not see anything they just white. The problem appeared when migrating from version 28 to 29. Reset, reset, and start in safe mode settings did not help.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Have you removed all cookies and cleared the cache?

more options

I've already tried: 1) Reset 2) Complete reinstall 3) Safe Mode 4) to enable / disable hardware acceleration 5) remove localstore.rdf file 6) changed Windows theme and turns on / off transparency 7) removed all cookies and cleared the cache It seems that the only solution is rolled back to the version 28
