Cannot attach files on any page I open on firefox.

Hi guys, I have the following problem. Since I installed firefox 29.0.1, I cannot attach any files on any of the pages I open with the browser. This includes of course gmail and many other professional sites where I need to upload files. On chrome for example, I don't have the same problem. I tried resetting the browser, but it didn't work. By the way, I 'm using windows xp. Thanks for your time.

I tried both methods mentioned above but a) the values were all in default and b)set the psdy attribute to false and restarted but the problem persists. Any other ideas? By the way, this window I'm writing in at the moment has also "Add images" and a Browse button which off course doesn't work either!
