I downloaded an earlier version of firefox because the new one sucks, but you reloaded the latest without my permission.

new version forces me to use an intermediate step to load any file including mail. I cannot directly enter an url in the usual way, using the http (etc) line. My only cure so far is to use CHROME. If I can't use 3.6 without an automatic change being forced on me, I guess it's bye-bye. I only use xp because all of my computers are loaded with older programs.

The new update is a hotfix. I would encourage to update as it fixes many security issues and adds safety to your browsing.
