i am running osx mountain liion and everytime i start up firefox, i ALWAYS have to import bookmarks, they are never saved....solution?

upon running firefox, an import has to occur, which i import bookmarks from chrome. the bookmarks appear. if i close the program, i have to re-do the import because the bookmarks from the last import arent there.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.
