New tab behaviour
I've inadvertanly done something to Firefox 12.0. When I started Firefox the "+" tab for adding a new tab had moved from the right of the tab bar to the far left. I moved all of the other tabs to its left but now new tabs are created on the right of the "+" tab and not the left.
I've no special add-ons for tabbing and don't want any - I just want the default behaviour back again.

Whoops! restarted Firefox again and normal behaviour has returned. Apologies if I have wasted anyone's time. Am confused but happy.

hello, you can try to reset all customizations of the ui to the default in the view menu > toolbars > customize...
Already tried that and it didn't help. But thanks for the suggestion.

ok, no problem - otherwise i'd also have suggested to run firefox in safemode & select the "Reset toolbars and controls" option in the dialog box. in case the problem is reappearing one time, you could also try that...
