When I go to bookmarks and select open in a new tab, new tab no longer seems to open - Fault has only just developed. Any ideas?

When I right click on a bookmark to open in a new tab, then new tab does not open. If I simply open the bookmark, then it opens in the current tab. This fault has only just developed, as previously there has been no problem opening up a bookmark in a new tab. Thanks

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
