Used to have an icon that I put under the "hamburger" menu on the bookmarks toolbar that opened the bookmarks menu. Can't remember how I got it there.

PathMan, if you right-click the hamburger menu and select Customise Toolbar, you might find the missing bookmarks button on the customise page?

If so, you can right-click it and re-pin it somewhere.

147.0.1 (64-bit) Right clicking on the hamburger menu does nothing. Copilot says bookmarks "system" has been removed in this build as well as the MAIL taskbar. Where do I go to QUICKLY get to bookmarks in Bookmarks menu?

Hi,

You can also get to Customize toolbar... be opening the Firefox menu (just clicking the hamburger icon) and selecting More tools. Customize toolbar... will be at the top. After selecting it, drag the Bookmarks Menu Bookmarks Menu button - Proton button to the toolbar and click Done.

For reference, see the "Bookmarks Menu button on the toolbar" section of this article.

This is the menu that comes up after a single left click on the hamburger menu: New Account Create Open from File View Density Font Size Settings Account Settings Add-ons and Themes Tools Help Clicking TOOLS gets this one: Import Export Export for Mobile Search Messages Message Filters OpenPGP Key Manager Download Manager Activity Manager Developer Tools Do NOT see More tools > Customize toolbar HELP!

Could you please add a screenshot? And what application are you asking about?

PathMan, just in case you weren't already aware, you can also access bookmarks via the sidebar or via the top menu. On Windows the keyboard shortcuts are ctrl+B and alt+B respectively.

But in terms of getting the bookmarks button back, if right-clicking on the hamburger did not bring up a menu containing "Customise Toolbar", try instead right-clicking on other icons found at the top of the screen such as Extensions or Downloads, until one opens a menu with this item.

You could also go to the View menu and look for "Customise Toolbar" under the Toolbars submenu. On Windows you can open the View menu by pressing alt+V.
