i cant play sound from firefox ive tried restarting my computer, disabling my adblocker, everything i can think of its not my headphones, they work fine with files on my computer im having the same problem with davinci resolve too please someone help i dont know what to do anymore

This is a privacy problem, because most of the time when I open a website like google.com, I don't want to be logged in so the website can identify me. I only keep a container tab for such a website around, so I can open it if I explicitly want to be logged in.

I recently tried to connect to two different meeting sites. Both times I got a pop-up noting (correctly) that camera and microphone are blocked. I'm able to click to enable the microphone but I never get the option to enable the camera.

I tried going to Settings>Security&Privacy>Camera but that only allows me to remove previously-enabled websites.

Clicking on the settings button in the address bar shows audio and recording settings but no camera.

What am I doing wrong?

nord vpn from desktop icon gives the normal pop up in pic 1. next pic when you go to log in you get the with screen in pic 2. if you try log in from a link nord sent in trouble shooting you get pic 3. if you go to crap browsers like chrome and edge it works fine, but we are removing those programs next weeks for security reasons. so i need this to work on firefox. reinstalled nord with no fix. worked fine 11-2925 but not now 11-30-25

Whenever I am shopping online on my Macbook (MacOS Sierra 15.7.2) Firefox will begin to freeze and then hang on the checkout page. I notice this happens most often with Shop/Shopify websites. Can someone help? This behavior seemed to begin this year about 6 months ago. I end up having to go Safari and reload my page, find the items again, and then I can check out. So problem is something about Firefox and my machine.

Today, all of a sudden, I lost my usual browser window that displayed all my bookmarks. The browser window looked completely different in a bad way and I have lost quick access to my most familiar sites. Moreover, the page displays sponsored ads, none of which is either of my choosing or of my liking. I am completely disoriented and Firefox has greatly disappointed me. Please help!

At the moment all websites accessed through Firefox are all crashing after a few minutes and often a lot less. It is happenig constantly. It started before I updated Firefox today, but has continued after the update. Anyone know what's happening? I'm still on Windows 10 - will that be an issue?

After installing the latest version of Firefox for Windows, if I have 3 firefox pages open (I have pages ungrouped on the task bar), when a download is in progress, it shows a progress bar on each of the pages as opposed to just on 1 page. Was this change made on purpose or by mistake?

Recently google's advanced search page changed from how it's been displayed for years -- seemingly only on firefox. And I hate the change. It still displays as always on DuckDuckGo and Safari. Firefox is my preferred browser, but I use goodle advanced search myriad times every day and this is changed version is such a PITA that it's approaching being a dealbreaker for me. Sure, I'd like to know wth happened and why, but really I just want google advanced search to return to my preferred display. (It does not just look different, it performs differently, in little ways that matter a lot to me over the multiple times I use it. Be glad to elucidate if it matters.) First attached image is what I'm now getting on ff. Second attached image is what I used to get on ff, and still get on DDG and Safari, and would like back on ff. Please help.

I’m not a great user of “forum solutions” simply because due to an accident and head trauma I have developed quite severe concentration issues, or lack of concentration issues however you would like to look at it.

So if you have an idea about my problem give it to me like I’m a 10 year old.

My situation started about three updates ago, and is as follows.

If I open up a new tab or I open up a link into a new tab or window that tab or window will often not scroll. I did eventually discovered that if I click on the “ reload current page” icon up on the toolbar it then scrolls with no issue whatsoever.

I do understand that this is not an end of the world situation, but is happening with greater frequency and it is an irritation which at times really starts to grind that every time I open a new tab I then have to reload that tab in order to get it to operate.

Suggestions welcome.

So I started using Firefox on my older and newer laptops, but I've noticed that on my older laptop it has started giving me the message "You must log in to this network before you can access the internet", although I am already signed in on my Mozilla account there too. My newer laptop has had no issues for the record. Both systems are running windows 11, both have the same account that I am using, etc. If it makes any difference, my older laptop is using an ethernet cable whilst the newer one is connected via Wi-Fi. When I ran into this issue yesterday on my old laptop, the issue somehow resolved itself after I created a bugzilla account, although I am unsure if this was coicidence, so now I am confused why the issue has showed up again. Awaiting any kind of help or advice, thank you.

I am logging in to my browser as normal, but am still getting the notification "You must log in to this network before you can access the Internet". This is cutting me off from regular internet access as if I was not logged in.

Like the title says. I've removed this (see img) page from history and tried hitting SHIFT + DEL with the suggestion highlighted, but it just persists. How can I get rid of it?

I can't tell if I've got a browser hijacker. I'm on an android phone on Firefox and using duckduckgo. I have avast antivirus, but the free version. And in the last 24 hours, sometimes when I type inquiries, usually if its a string of letters and numbers, it will redirect me to a website unrelated to my search. For instance, typing in mig23(looking up fighter jet), it won't do searches and instead will take me to some UK boat website. "OICE", a typo, takes me to a NASA OIIR website. It appears to be close to whatever I typed in, but also doesn't happen every single time. This doesn't happen on my other devices, but it also doesn't happen when I use google in Firefox. However, it is possible that this happened on my laptop but I do not have access to it right now.

I am always in fear of viruses and I desperately want this to be a computer glitch. I cleared the DNS cache, I deleted some files and apps and rebooted and its still happening! I don't know what file could've done it.

On a new computer, I entered a new Mozilla password, and Mozilla on new computer won't sync with my old bookmarks, which still are on old computer.

Sync doesn't add these bookmarks.

Both computers now sign in with new PW. I can't go back to old PW (doesn't have current standards).

How to get sync to work, and get my bookmarks on new computer?

I recently switched from Safari to Firefox on my IPhone. When I realized that they don’t integrate I deleted the RoboForm app. and reinstalled it on my IPhone. Unfortunately they still don’t integrate and RoboForm will not fill in forms and passwords. Contacted RoboForm and they told me that they are investigating but I think that they don’t have an answer. In the meantime I have to copy/paste my logins. Somewhere I read that I should have the RoboForm icon on the top right corner of my screen- never happened. Anybody else goes through similar issues? Does anyone have suggestions(other than switch browser/password manager)? Thanks, Alberto

I HAVE THE FIX - Create a new PROFIE and import from HTML or restore again.

To create a new "PROFILE", click on the PROFILES menu and click NEW PROFILE, type in your FIRST NAME click on a color of your choice and click the DONE EDITING button. Now, IMPORT FROM HTML or RESTORE your bookmarks from the file you created.

If Firefox doesn't have a PROFILES menu choice (no problem), just type ABOUT:PROFILES into the address bar (where you would normally type a website address) and press the ENTER key on your keyboard.

If you need to type ABOUT:PROFILES (don't forget to type the COLON between ABOUT and PROFILES)

When the profiles window appears, click the CREATE A NEW PROFILE button, the CREATE PROFILE WIZARD will appear, (read the message and click the NEXT button, type in your FIRST NAME and click the FINISH button.

The new profile has been created. Close out of Firefox (multiple copies may be open). Close all of them, then restart Firefox and IMPORT FROM HTML or RESTORE your bookmarks.

Backup and Restore work best.

Hi. When I click on the arrow to go back to previous page, nothing happens. This occurs on any website I am connected to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Alan
