Over the past several days I've developed a problem where Firefox uncontrollably scrolls as posts are added while on Facebook. I've turned off smooth scrolling, etc. and it happens while Firefox is in troubleshoot mode. It appears others are experiencing this but so far I haven't found a solution. Version 102.0.1 (64 bit) & Windows 10 Thanks in advance!

Hi Garrett, here is one of the longer threads on the problem (probably not solved yet): https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1382198

Do you scroll by clicking and dragging down on the "thumb" on the scroll bar? Try instead clicking in the blank space below the thumb (should advance by one screen-height) to see whether that avoids the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! I generally use the scroll wheel on my mouse but I've tried he two methods you described, as well as actually clicking on the up and down arrows to see if that would solve the problem. Also changed out the (optical) mouse, just in case it was causing the problem. Nothing fixed it.

The auto-scrolling doesn't happen all the time and doesn't appear to be triggered by me scrolling

I think I've been through the thread you linked but I'll definitely go back through it and see if I might have missed something.
