I just reinstalled the windows on my laptop, when I logged into my Mozilla account it didn't sync any of my bookmarks / passwords (which has never happened on previous reinstalls). How could I retrieve my bookmarks and passwords, they were important for me?

I just read if you change the password it deletes everything. Shouldn't this be mentioned somewhere? I just lost years worth of bookmarks and passwords. If I change the password back to what it used to be will it restore them?

Sorry for spamming here, but can I get any help about recovering that saved data? If I knew something like this could happen I wouldn't have changed the password, I could've kept guessing the one I had.
