How to store payment methods in Firefox?

I would like to preload / edit saved payment methods in Firefox. I checked the box to save them. I tried to import them from Chrome.

I'm spoiled by Chrome making it so easy to do online payments. All I need is the CVC, Chrome remembers the 16 digit card number and expiration date.

I've been using Firefox a lot more because Chrome is such a memory hog. But when I want to make an online payment, I open Chrome.

If I could just do a work session and load all of my cards into Firefox. I would be happy.

IDK, I have one CC (actually a Debit Card with minimal balance) that I use on line. No way that I will "expose" more than that one account on the internet and risk losing more to possible hacking or a lost device. Too east to "move money" into that account as needed to make an unplanned for purchase online.

One lost laptop 12 years ago that was sync'd to my home PC was enough. I incurred no losses, but the anxiety during the trip to rush home to change all my passwords was enough.

That feature is known as Auto Form Fill:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/control-whether-firefox-automatically-fills-forms

Also, see this support article:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-doesnt-save-web-form-entries

And this one, too, if you live outside the USA: dated but may be applicable, IDK; not a feature that I use much
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatically-fill-your-address-web-forms

Thanks edmeister. I had already set FF to remember and for the first time it did. Would still like to know how to proactively load my cards. But I guess there's not a way for that Thanks again, Peter

That is a good cautionary thought, thank you!
