I need to turn off Firefox from saving and showing my user name and password when I go to a favorite website.

Can someone tell me step by step how to turn off the command in Firefox that saves and displays my user name and password ( as dots ) whenever I open up a favorite website ? The user name and password are supposed to be secure. Any one can now go to the website, just click continue and get into my secure account.

How do I get into your community of users to read your answer ?

Click on the 3 bar menu, go to preferences and go to privacy and security, under forums and passwords make sure to uncheck "Remember passwords and logins."

What you are talking about is the Password Manager. This will automatically fill in known usernames & passwords.

Only someone with access to your computer user account can see them.
