Why does my download stop suddenly? A lot of bandwith is being wasted uneccessarily.
My download always stops if it exceeds 1 gb. Please look into it and solve my problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?

What is your computer system and Firefox?
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.
