cant print headers and footers using Firefox; can with "E"[explorer].. how to fix?

when using "E" [explorer], I can print headers and footers; but when logging on with Mozilla Firefox, I cannot print either when I print out anything at all, whether general surfing on internet or e-mails or anything else... I cant find settings to change this to permanent print ON for headers and footers; help.
