firefox is not restoring any of my sessions when i start it up, i lost a lot of tabs, i have the setting turned on to restore it but its not working

Long title :) There is no one here to actually fix it as it is most likely down to some set ups you have sadly. You could try a different container with a different account to see how a 'clean' set up works, but without a lot of exact detail on what you have tried and ideas you have explored via the search options, it's pretty impossible actually help in the way you ask. You say 'sessions' where do you find that settings? Do you mean only tabs not a loss of history that you also want to keep.
