Good morning, I hope you are having a good day.

I have an account with CA FTB (to make my estimated tax payments) and an account with CA DMV (for DMV stuff like renewing drivers license).

The FTB account is https://webapp.ftb.ca.gov The DMV account is https://www.dmv.ca.gov

So, Firefox browser seems to think these two accounts are the same, and tries to use my FTB credentials for my DMV account.

It seems like the .ca.gov causes the browser to think they are the same account?

So, I would appreciate any insight on how to fix or work around this problem.

As the title states, every time I restart my PC, Firefox deletes everything. Bookmarks, passwords, profiles, all of it. I'm really tired of having to hunt down backups and restoring/creating new profiles constantly. Is there any fix? I really like Firefox but if there isn't a fix I'll look into a different browser.

finance.jharkhand.gov.in has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

I have experienced Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR in Developer and regular Firefox. I just downloaded WaterFox and tried opening the same websites and all work normally. That tells me there is a setting in Firefox Developer or regular Firefox that is causing the issue. I have read and tried all of the recommended fixes and none have solved the problems the both firefoxes. I'm sending this thru Waterfox. HELP

I do not understand why I open up a new firefox browser that my bookmarks are gone, and I have to refresh to get them back. It seems that I have more then one profile and when I go to picking one for my default, it works. Not sure why this keeps happening. I only want one profile and for it to have all of my bookmarks. What do I do to stop this form happening every time I open up a new browser in firefox.??

I have a Brother DCP-L2550DW printer that is connected via a network cable. Any other browser, i.e. Edge or Chrome, seem to be able to connect and print just fine. Firefox fails to print and there is no information about why. I have checked Event Viewer, turned off all the extensions, tried the about:config to reset printer options. Every single suggestion I've found so far fails to fix it. I have a great deal invested in using Firefox (bookmarks, etc.) so I'd like to keep it as my default browser, but not being able to print is SO annoying. Any suggestions?

I want to confirm that Mozilla Firefox is my default browser. I want it to appear when I start up my computer and have it appear on my screen when I'm at rest. But first, I need to set the page up again.

(When I hit "browse" below, Firefox does not appear. My documents file opens up, wanting to save something to a file or folder.)

I am unable to find an answer (hours on the Internet) to this specific problem that has appeared out of nowhere:

Under File in the Menu Bar the "Email Link..." does not work anymore. If I want to send a thing I'm looking at to my Thunderbird email (and which I use Hover), most often is a You Tube video. But I do this for other things I start reading, but I don't have time for. This has worked for a very long time. It was always so easy. Now when I click on Email Link all I get is a blue circle-I think it rotates sometimes. It disappears in a second or less. I get nothing.

I do have Windows 11 and up-to-date Firefox. I am fairly sure it continued to work after I got a new computer Nov. 4th with W11 on it. I believe I lost this function within the last 6-8 weeks. Maybe with the new computer, but I don't think so. I'd appreciate it if someone might have a fix or idea about this. I admit my intelligence is not up to the task!

My Firefox data (profiles, bookmarks, browsing history, etc) suddenly disappeared. I had a session going with multiple tabs open, and only noticed because Outlook kept opening links in a brand new session that was not linked to the one I already had open. When I closed out of firefox, my old session and all my data was gone. I followed all the recovery steps and am stumped. Where did my data go and is it possible to restore it?

Love Firefox, and like Avast software. Wanted to try Avast AntiTrack Premium but Avast wants me to make it an add on extension to my browser. Mozilla told me this- just want to know if it's safe. I talk to friends on facebook/messenger. Previously my conversations were always on Firefox. But suddenly a couple of months ago I could no longer use my camera and my microphone on Firefox, and had to install a new browser. I have been trying several times to give Firefox permission to use my camera and my microphone, but sofar without success. What do I have to do?

Even when I am signed into Firefox, the other person's Firefox passwords appear, and mine rarely do. This happened even before I downloaded Windows 11 recently. Often, I need to make sure the other user is logged out of his Windows acct., then turn off the computer, wait a few minutes, and then turn the computer back on before my passwords appear. Today, even that hasn't worked.

i run Firefox on Win11. When i go to a website, and open several tabs, e.g., 10 or more, firefox just sits there and no longer works on that site. Basically Firefox is becoming quite worthless as a browser for me. The reason i use it are the extensions. This is something that has happened within the last 6 to 9months or so. What is going on. I sometimes have an issue: when I try to pay for a product or service, I end up in an error page and the only way to continue is by using another browser. I think that the problem is that my browser blocks pop-up windows. Which of the extensions does that? How can I get myself out of the need to use other browsers?

certain web sites are not available on my PC via firefox browser. Have to switch to Edge to access. Have had this happen a number of times for different websites but was amazed that couldn't access social security admin (ssa.gov). Received this error message:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
