Поставил на комп новую виндовс(11ю если это важно), нахожусь в россии по этому до ступ к данному сайту только через dns сервера. Он у меня ни в мозиле не открывается ни в эйдже, пробовал куки чистить и отключать брендмауэр, не помогает.

How then am I protected in any kind of secure way?

All it would take is the Mozilla services using my public IP to lose my browsing protection. How are those connections secured to protect my identity from being exposed once the VPN is enabled and even after the VPN is enabled?

If the public IP can be discovered at sign-in, re-connections, and public Wi-Fi connections before the VPN is enabled, then that same public IP can be traced through internal logs to uncover all the VPN activity done after sign-in, re-connections, and public Wi-Fi access. So, how exactly can I trust the VPN protects my activity at all?

I'm just curious how you setup any protection prior to the VPN being enabled? I'm a former IT Network Specialist I had my CISCO CCNA certificate (Worked in school districts who wouldn't pay for additional certificates so I did all the study work and practice testing up to the CCNP certification just could never afford to take any of the exams beyond the CCNA). So, when I see these additional things like your 50 GB of free browser VPN and read how it works I get curious about the actual protections being provided. Are the people more vulnerable than they may be led to believe?

I can't figure out which topic to use for this but I can't submit it without one.

When I click on the star icon in the address bar the star icon is filled in, and existing bookmarks do show with the filled-in star icon and they work. But I no longer get a dropdown where I can assign a folder, edit, tag, or delete an existing bookmark, and the pages I've tried to bookmark don't show up in Recently Bookmarked so they haven't been added. I don't know if it has something to do with the toolbar?

Nothing I can find online helps. The places.sqlite file in my profile is not read-only, and I refreshed Firefox (stupidly, before I took a screenshot of the pinned shortcuts on my New Tabs page) and that made no difference. The only extension I use is UBlock Origin. Changing profiles did not help. This is on my personal laptop and no organization controls my settings.

I stay up to date on Windows 11 and Firefox updates. I do use a VPN but it never interfered with bookmarking functionality before. (I see Firefox offers a free one now but I've got a couple of years left on my paid subscription).

I asked the community but got no replies. (I did "reply" to add more information which no longer applies, and I can't seem to delete the "reply".)

I'm sorry I thought I sent my message all right so my messages I was I was wondering if there's any way I could copy all my bookmarks and websites from Yandex browser I've got a bunch of them and I thought that you and it was really really good for the kind of stuff that I wanted to watch and look at and find and create but you're oh my God your brows are so much cooler so much better I was wondering cuz like you know when I switch to a new device as long as you turn on certain setting in your app when the one that you got currently it'll be there no matter what device you open the app in the future it's All saints but I wanted to see if I can move it to your browser instead of using the Andy's browser at all!

Tell me how to get to my gmail account using the Firefox browser without going through Mozilla. The extra step is irritating, to say the least. And I've been using gmail for years without Mozilla.

Hi, I use Firefox version 154.0.1. The issue have been going on for years but Im so tired of it.

I have selected that Firefox shall update the browser even when firefox not running. But everytime there is a new update, I just open the browser as usual but it takes more time because not only does the startpage open, a new tab is open as well telling me the browser is updated. I just want it to open the start page, no more, is this possible?

After several windows problems, I did a clean install with forgetting to sync or backup on my profile and lost a good bit of my bookmarks. However, I managed to retrieve some files, but they seem corrupted and after going through forums and several researches, I am unable to use them. I tried to look at the files and some of them turned to chinese and others have strange symbols in them. Thanks lovely people!

I cannot open any files on my Google Drive from one email account. I've tried opening troubleshoot mode, signing out of all accounts, clearing cache... but nothing works. I don't really know what's causing the issue because my Google Drive works fine on Safari. I'm lowkey getting really annoyed because my drive hasn't been able to work for a week... This issue occurs for both windows and mac OS.

the login never completes and there are messages at the bottom of the screen that it is waiting for various sites like ips.navigatorixa mail.com if I wait Firefox eventually times out with site not responding

I click on the website page and scan through things then close that website. Then I get on the search engine page an icon of that website I just looked through added onto the search page as an icon. I do not want this. I know how to add websites I frequently visit so its not that. It must be a setting somewhere in my Firefox settings. How do I switch this off?
