Hello. I want to download Your new version of Android Firefox? Why i must use site like apkmirror.com ? Why you have so big problem to use any FTP or any site on Your servers to take this packeges. Im saying about full version of public? Why topic about this from 2015 is close and thes links dont works? Currently I'm running Firefox Android 140.0 on Android 15, though this issue has been present for the past two to three years, though it has started to occur more often in the past six months.

When browsing Private Tabs, the browser will regularly close all these tabs on its own, unprompted, and show the New Tab page for Private Tabs. This is visualised by a slide left animation, similar to switching between tabs by swiping across the navigation bar. Sometimes, this also occurs when switching apps, even though Firefox is locked to prevent its background task from being killed. Normal tabs are not refreshed. The “Close Tabs” setting is set to Never. The specific websites accessed do not change anything, as they are different each time.

Steps to reproduce problem:

1. Open several (5-10) Private tabs
2. Browse as normal
3. After a couple of days, whilst browsing, all Private tabs will close themselves. Alternatively, lock the Firefox app in multitasking view, then switch apps for a minute and then return (this tends to happen at random after a couple of days).

This is offered as Mozilla support but it mihht never be answered

Please tell me my sign in email so I can check passwords and logins in Firefox for a uRL subscription that suddenly doesn't work on my

I am prompted to FINISH SETUP. When I click on the button a pop up asking me to FINISH SETTING UP FIREFOX by completing 5 steps. All are checked. Nothing happens nor is there a button to execute the operation. How do I complete the SETUP?

I have verified that my phone's general location settings are enabled and set to "High Accuracy Mode." GPS signals are generally stable in my area.

Microphone and Other Permissions:

Beyond location, I am encountering similar difficulties with microphone access and other web permissions (e.g., camera, if applicable) on different websites accessed via Firefox. Websites request and are seemingly granted permission, but the functionality does not activate or remains unusable.

This issue is not confined to one specific website; it appears to be a systemic problem affecting nearly all websites that require these permissions when browsed through Firefox.

I have already attempted the following basic troubleshooting steps:

Cleared Firefox's cache and site-specific data for affected websites.

Restarted the Firefox browser.

Restarted the phone.

Confirmed that my phone's date and time settings are correct.

Verified that I am not using any VPN or proxy services.

The inability to properly utilize these web permissions within Firefox on my Samsung J3 6 is significantly hindering my ability to access and use various online services effectively. I kindly request your assistance in investigating this matter and providing guidance on a potential resolution.

For some reason, my Honor tablet has stopped displaying my tabs in the tool bar. I didn't ask for it to do this, and have been trying in vain to reverse it.

Hi, I have switched from Chrome to Firefox for Android. Generally the app works great, but I experienced a a very annoying problem: When I click on a link on my home screen, Firefox opens and shows the requested web page, but in most cases it shows the outdated version of the page, apparently from the cache. Of course I could update the page manually, but I am tired to do so again and again. Acivating the option "Clear cache when Firefox is closed" does not remove the problem as this is performed only when I cancel the Firefox task through the task manager. So I think it is understandable why the problem occurs, but I don't see a solution or a workaround. I didn't notice this problem with Chrome, so I think they must have found a solution. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I using firefox for android, and due I can't afford new ones, the second-hand devices broken often.

Well, also I don't had "desktop computer" in terms of OS. Because, tough, Samsung S series devices used as desktop device, via DEX station. I had only one working device, usually, but now succeded to achieve a second one, before the working one was quit. There's an option, to pair with a QR code.

Why that function tied to OS? Which made sense, which function or feature made it "desktop only" accessible?

We are now in 2025, meanwhile all the devs are basically thinking, out there nothing was changed. The primary computing now heavily switched to android based devices, and just sounds sick, I still tied to an outdated technology, to get smooth workaround.

I am trying to switch to Firefox but I'm having a lot of trouble on my Android phone. I have the AdGuard app already installed on my phone and it seems to be the source of the problem. Every link I click on that opens in the browser is blocked when AdGuard is enabled. It's only if I disable AdGuard do the links open.

I have attached a couple screenshots of what I see when I can't open a link. I have no intention of disabling AdGuard just to use Firefox, as I don't have this issue with any other browser I have, including Brave and DuckDuckGo.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to export my Pocket links because they're shutting down. The export I received doesn't include any tags, which makes it pretty much useless. How do I get one with the tags, so I can import to a different tool?
