My address field does not display a webaddress when using a link to open a webpage.
When I open a web address via a link in a forum, from my email, from another webpage or even a search engine, there is no destination web address in the field. It just says go to a web address. Also, the reload button is dimmed (unuseable). How do I fix this?

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks for the suggestions.. trying them now. :) Safe mode without themes looks so strange to me now.... If my add on department isn't the problem, I'm likely to be back. thanks again
Ok.. I disabled everything.. turned off hardware acceleration and am using all defaults. I checked all of the boxes on the safe mode start screen. The problem did not occur in safe mode. I restarted FF and the problem persists. Next stop.. Nvidia for possible driver updates, although I did just get that done about two weeks ago. Any other thoughts on the address field not having an address?
