My back button does not work
My back button no longer works and I have no idea why.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Another possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Can you tell us which extension caused it or how you otherwise solved it?
It helps other who read the thread.
I finally fixed mine by trying everything and then found something on another site that said while in safe mode click box that says to reset all settings to firefox defaults.... I did now my browser buttons and refresh buttons work again.
