I opened youtube to watch a video on the screen where the video is supposed to show up the space in totally black and nothing appears, I thought it was the flash player or java plugins but is not that, Is as if adblock plus had blocked the page, so I disable it and still the same, didn't work. What can I do?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
