
email with attachments send but not received
I have setup Thunderbird on a laptop. I tested the setup by sending a test email to computer #2 which is received just fine.
However, if I send a test email that contains an attachment (Word document) to the same email address on computer #2, the email appears to be sent from the laptop, but is not being received.
I check both servers and the email with an attachment has not bounce or gone to a junk folder. I can not find it anywhere.
Any suggestion on how to correct whatever it is that is causing this problem?

My guess is that the receiving server or email client is deleting it on receipt. I recall writing to a friend some years ago who used MS outlook and, unknown to my friend, the default setting on his pc was to delete attachments to avoid viruses. The fact that it is one domain makes this a big possibility.
