I want to disable the search-from-address-bar function. If I attempt to use the config editor, then I type about:config in the address bar BUT it does not open the config editor. Instead it displays search results related to the config editor.

None of those search results is the CONFIG EDITOR

But did you actually read it? It should be mentioned that there's no about:config in Firefox for iOS.
