I can't find a way to change the font and font size in Thunderbird Messages Panel
What the question says. Every setting in the Fonts/Color/Advanced does absolutely nothing to change the font or font size in the message panel from the awful and nearly unreadable default setting. Is there a solution or is this just one of those things never fixed?

This works. Keep in mind that thunderbird works with pixels, not points, so if you like 12 point font, you should try 16 pixels.
