I had an earlier version of Firefox which started crashing. I couldn't fix it so I put in Trash and deleted the Trash.

I have now tried twice to download a new version. Each time I have got to the new tab stage, but I just get the colour wheel and I now can't even force quit.

Many thanks for the link; however, I can't seem to find the solution there. When I open Firefox, I just get the colorwheel. The Firefox menu bar across the top does not appear and the icons on the new tab are not live or actionable. Hope I am making sense. Thanks again.
