So I have a question about the password manager, I see that you can set a master password but my question is what use is it? If my computer is stolen they can just use my browser history or favorites to see what site I have used and the manager puts in my password and username for them. Is there some kind of feature that stops this that I don't know of? Thanks

hi SolusUmbra, if you set a master password, the firefox password manager will store all the passwords in encrypted format and you'll have to enter your chosen password once per session in order for them to be automatically filled to login forms or to be viewed within the options > security panel.

people using your device unauthorized may still be able to get to your browsing history as you've noted and may be able to go into an account where you've chosen to always be remembered (by the virtue of storing a cookie on your device). as this isn't only affecting your browsers but all data on your pc, you should look into disk encryption solutions against this kind of threat model...
