getting youtube error message...have done everything on the trouble shooting list....running windows 8...
click on a youtube video.... it plays the first 30 sec...then error message or will shuffle thru the videos

Can you try to access Firefox in Safe Mode to see if the problem still exists and/or if it opens? You can follow the below instructions to start it in that mode.
- Go to Help > Restart with add-ons disabled
- When Firefox closes and re-opens, select Start in Safe Mode
If Firefox doesn't open, you can use the Safe Mode option to see if one of your extensions is causing Firefox to fail starting up
- Windows: Hold the SHIFT key while double clicking the Firefox icon on your Desktop
- OS X: Hold the OPTION key while clicking the Firefox icon in your Dock or Applications folder
- Linux: Run the following command in the Terminal (CTRL + ALT + T) firefox -safe-mode
If Firefox opens up, then it's most likely one of your extensions misbehaving. You can enable your add-ons back on by one until you find the conflicting extension.
