I keep getting error message: Exc in ev handl: Type Error: c. location is null
The problem started while I was working with Adobe Digital Editions.

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly (McAfee Site Advisor).
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

The only way to "fix" this is to disable McAfee SiteAdvisor. Switching your search engine to something other than Google will make this go away also. I had a McAfee technician tell me I was just imagining this problem so good luck getting any help from them. Also, see thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/921347
