I attempted (and may have) download on F/F/ 4.0 Since then my Comcast e-mail account (on F/F only) has reverted to what they call Lite. The fonts are too large, the whole process is not the same. I want to get back to F/F 3.6. How?

Your post shows you are posting from Firefox 3.6.17, so I'm assuming this is for a different computer?

Here's the roll back process:

First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see Backing up your information.

Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older

Close Firefox 4, and uninstall it. Do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.

Then finally you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.

Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

Thanks for the try. F/F 3.6 was my browser. I've uninstalled and now have installed 4.0.1 and the Lite version of Comcast e-mail is still the only one I can get using the F/F. Still get the regular SmartZone on I/E but I prefer to use the F/F browser since it isn't as "cute" as I/E. Checked with Comcast and they blame F/F, naturally. Still like a solution. Z
