When I delete a URL from my location bar drop down, it immediately reappears. Help?

I have deleted unwanted URL's from my drop down using the delete button on the key board, closed the drop down, reopened it and there they are! I have deleted and then rebooted Firefox, they reappear. Any ideas?

If those entries have a yellow star then that are bookmarks and you will have to remove those bookmarks.
