Last night Firefox on my laptop performed an automatic Firefox update.. The Firefox that was installed can only display a single tab. This is a major for me, since I normally work with multiple tabs. This problem may impact a large number of Firefox users. The documented recommended fix for this problem did not fix the problem.

This is v152.0.5 out of the box, flipping the two prefs (third is already true), tabs happy as always:

And if you don't flip these preferences, what happens?

If you restart into Troubleshoot Mode via Help menu, do tabs work there?
