I lost the + on the tabs to open a new page

I keep asking. I don't want to, but I am going to use another browser that I don't like, that does have the + as I keep hitting the y key to open a new tab. I am not well, cancer has me. My eyes are bad, and I could use some help, Thank you.

It is not in the custom app. I posted a image of the custom page, My eyes are bad, if you can see the new +tab thing, please tell me. thanks
