I see that there is now an option for Outlook (new) for emailing from the browser. Is there one in the works for Outlook (classic)? Thanks

I'm running Firefox 133.0.3 and Win11 Pro.

You have to check without outlook FAQ for those preferences since Firefox isn't Microsoft Outlook.

markwarner, I'm looking at the Firefox Settings, the General tab, down to Applications, which allows me to make a 'mailto' selection. A couple of weeks ago Mail was the default. Now, one update later, Outlook (new) is the default. These are options in Firefox, not Outlook. I'm talking about how I'd prefer to send an email from any browser page, nothing else.

You sure https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links#w_setting-the-mail-client-used-by-firefox as desktop Firefox is not just for Windows.

Thanks, James, that helped. The stuff in your link I had visited a lot, but I made my way to the default app page in the Windows settings, and was able to finally get this sorted out. New computer, new OS, so I'm going in circles at times.
