In settings, my default browser setting is greyed out and I have "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". The default browser is locked to Firefox.

I have tried various fixes in these help pages but nothing works to get rid of the default browser lock or the "Your browser is being managed by your organisation."

I delete the key in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies but it repopulates as soon as I reboot.

For information I have TOR browser as well but there appear to be no issues there. Only problems in Firefox

Can anyone help and unlock my browser default to Firefox?

You can use tools like Sysinternals "Process Monitor" to see what is changing registry values.

I am a non tech user so this is beyond me. I just would like Mozilla to unlock my browser always defaulting to firefox. Perhaps uninstalling Firefox will help?
