Thunderbird asking for credentials - blank screen

My Thunderbird was just updated. Now when I try to check emails, it gives me a blank screen and on the top it says: "Enter Credentials for <my email address> on outlook.office365.com". There are no options and the screen is blank. Please help!

If you install https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.8.1/win64/en-US/Thunderbird%20Setup%20115.8.1.exe does the problem go away?

And if you reinstall (not update) https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/115.9.0/win64/en-US/Thunderbird%20Setup%20115.9.0.exe does the problem reappear?
