Desperate need of help since the update to nova
the nova update was really bad so i installed 102.50 - tried to copy the profile over same as you would before - and got the newer version so wont work error
reisntaleld nova to try to get my accounts back but it ate the passwords and some of the mail files and all the addons .
currently cant get email and it will take days if not weeks to reset all the passwords ( yes i know i should have exportedd them but nova was so bad a hurried ) and some are tokens anyway ...
is there any way to recover the profile so that 102 will be able to use it or even cruddy nova if i have to

You've greatly limited your options by trying to hack around. IMO your best,but not painless option is start from scratch with 115, and then work through whatever issues you may be having with 115.

issues with 115 were insurmoutable for me - made it unusable
didnt make the same mistake with family - so have rolled back the ones that got caught and blocked updates on everyone
for me I re-installed 102.15.1 bought systools mbox converter to recover the saved emails reset the passwords i hadn't stored recovered my old profile and reinstalled the xpis and blocked updates in thunderbird
have email again although it took a while and cost a bit
You should have been able to use Thunderbird's own import process
It failed - the profile / mailbox cannot be imported as they are from a higher version of thunderbird - not exact words - tried a few times .
