Hi Eivin, were these files you downloaded and saved from a website? Are they still listed in your Firefox download history (Ctrl+J)? If the file has not moved or been deleted, the "folder" icon on the right side of each download should open the folder where it is saved.

What files did you lose and where were they stored? Have you checked the computer's recycle/trash folder?
