Yes, Reddit also is flooded with posts on this problem. (for example) Probably Google changed something and it's better to wait for a fix than to try to hack around it.

I've only come across this in the past hour or two and it's incredibly frustrating. It seems to only be affecting Firefox, as well. Chromium based browsers are unaffected.
