Firefox loses sound, fixed by browser restart

It started happening a couple of weeks ago every now and then. At some point I just notice that there's no sound coming from the browser, from any website, and the system mixer doesn't indicate any sound coming from Firefox. Youtube and Vimeo just silently play videos, whereas Deezer displays the message "An error occurred, please try again later." Using private windows doesn't help. Nothing hardware or software-wise changed with my computer when it started happening (probably except for Firefox and OS updates)

      please follow thease steps to fix sound
   Open Firefox and play content that should play sound, such as this Firefox video or a Flash video with sound.
   Click the volume icon in the Windows taskbar.
   Click Mixer. The Volume Mixer window will appear.
   Make sure the sliders for Mozilla Firefox and Plugin Container for Firefox (for plugin content such as Adobe Flash) are not muted or at the bottom

Hello, no, nothing is muted in the mixer, I specifically went there to check if it's receiving any sound from Firefox
