Windows 10

Fire Fox 59.0.2

Adobe Flash 29.0.0.140

I got the above message, went to Adobe.com and downloaded the latest version. Did not work. Unistalled and reinstalled Flash and still did not work.

Flash Player Help site verifies above versions for Fire Fox and Adobe Flash.

It does work in IE.

Hi, where are you getting these messages from ? Web sites, pop-ups, drop-downs, there is malware that can do that also and mimic a Firefox Page.

Please scan with : https://www.hitmanpro.com/ , install as 1 x only & https://www.malwarebytes.com/

When you uninstalled did you use the Flash Uninstaller ? https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html as this is the best way to remove all things that can get left behind. Install from here : Flash Player Version: 29.0.0.140 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

So ya, think it is Malware you have onboard.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Did you download the NPAPI version for Firefox?

You can download the latest Flash player plugin for Firefox on this page.

What version is listed in "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins ?

You can try to open the about:plugins page via the location/address bar to refresh the plugin registry.

Hi, fyi : Flash for IE and Edge is different than what Firefox uses. Flash must never be downloaded from Adobe for Windows 10, Win10 gets it's Flash updates through Ms Updates only.

29 will not update to 31 - automatically or manually 31 NPAPI is installed per the instructions, but Firefox will not recognize it App was uninstalled and reinstalled before using the two methods FireFox recommends. In the Windows 10 list of apps the latest version (23SEP2018)31NPAPI is listed so it is installed but not recognized Reboots.restarts do not change the situation
