I use importexport tools to make backups of thunderbird. And i use a Synology NAS with encryption of the content of the hdd. This means, that the length of a filename or a path should not exceed 45 characters. But importexport tools produce them - even when I rename the top-level dir name to D:/tb/ All the backup files have no good name convention to match on a ciphered SYNOLOGY NAS HDD. Who can help me? How can i shorten the filenames and subdir-names?

TIA

Bjoern
