1.Goto about:preferences#content and in Languages option click choose and select the language you want.

2.If your homepage was google,just click english below google search bar and drag and drop it to the home button of firefox browser.

Now I get it.It was because of AVG.It changes the homepage and sets it own search engine as homepage. Goto about:preferences#search.And check if google is your search engine and also from the list of search engines below select AVG if present and click remove and restart firefox and see.Hope this helps

Did you have AVG in those preferences.Could you please elaborate what happened when you tried to do so?

whenever i opened Mozilla browser, by default the earlier attached screen is coming.. i tried to remove all languages except English but that also is of no use.. i have un installed totally the Mozilla browser itself and will try to reinstall same.. tks once again for your support

i found it..just went to add on and removed AVG from their.. totally removed avg search from my browser setting ..
