I can't seem to get rid of "adchoices" it won't go away! Please help...

This annoying little box pops up in the lower left of my screen and takes about a 1/4 of the page until I hit a little red X. I've tried several way to remove it and I'm not having any lasting results.

Goto: addons.mozilla.org and install addblock plus. I hope it works.
